How exactly did having a devops approach reduce change back-outs?
From Wolfgang Goerlich: Because changes are taking into account how the changes actually work - i.e. developers understand how the infrastructure functions and what dependencies exist. It eliminates the "it works on my machine" syndrome.
Essentially this extends the test processes to the core operations processes.
