IOPS Calculation
How should we calculate IOPS combining 2 types of RAID.
With the below formula I can calculate IOPS for one type of RAID for the complete system but not for the 2 types of RAID configured in one System
Functional IOPS=((RawIOPS*Write %)/RAID Write Penalty)+(RawIOPS*Read %)
You have to know the split between the different RAID subsystems. One way of expressing the formula is:
Total Functional IOPS = ((RawIOPSRAID1 * RAID1Write%) / RAID1 Write Penalty) + ((RawIOPSRAID2 * RAID2Write%) / RAID2 Write Penalty) + OverallRawIOPS * (1- OverallWrite%)

Thanks David, I will try this option and see if it helps to find out the IOPS...and update you if it helps.
Can you please suggest what all points should be considered while desining a storage solution...

I have tried the below formaul to find out the IOPS however it i restricting me to the particulr RAID level and not helping to get the complete system IOPS
