A client of mine is thinking about making a significant investment in Corel, but is nervous because of the persistent rumors about a sale or the company being taken private. Has anyone heard any news around this - or the potential spin off of WinZip or WordPerfect suite? Thanks

Corel's been for sale for some time hasn't it. Last I heard it had about a $300M valuation in mid 2008 which is most assuredly down since then given the financial crisis.
