What are you seeing companies doing relative to preparing their networks for accessing traditional LAN Applications via WAN Technology?
The questions is rather broad.

Remote office solutions such as Riverbed are making progress.
Most customers are working through the challenges and opportunities of virtualization. WAN networking is not a strength of most customer's knowledge and is usually an afterthought when deploying replication technologies, so I would look for xSPs to be offering services to customers that address this space.

At a recent customer roundtable we got talking about cloud and the general sentiment was "our WAN is the bottleneck" implying no to your answer. Stu may have additional thoughts on this.
