An After Call is the session immediately following a Peer Incite Research Meeting. The call comprises the presenter on the call, the moderator and the Wikibon analyst team. The After Call lasts one hour and is designed to create research that advises members. In the After Call we define at least six research notes covering:
- The summary
- CIO actions
- Organizational considerations
- Technology integration actions
- Vendor actions
- Asset management implications (otherwise known as GRS - 'Getting Rid of Stuff').
The moderator takes notes and assigns the pieces to different members of the analyst team. Typically, within 24 hours these pieces appear on the Wikibon home page and are edited by the community.
These six research notes are then combined with the summary to create a newsletter that goes out to our community. The research notes, and the Wiki Newsletter live on in the wiki and users can comment on them or edit them. We also create a podcast of the session (a long version and a summary).
