Hello all the Team, First of all, i would like to thank you for your job at wikibon that is very useful. To come to my question, i am very confused with the way you calculated the big data revenue as percentage of total Revenue. First example: IBM, Big Data Revenue = $953 (US$ millions) Total Revenue = 106,000 (US$ millions) Big Data Revenue as percentage of Total Revenue = 1%. How do you find 1%? I try 106/953 but i found 11%. Is it fair that the big data revenue is greater than the total revenue? All the vendors are in this case from IBM to EMC.
Second example: Teradata Big Data Revenue = $120 (US$ millions) Total Revenue = 2,200 (US$ millions) Big Data Revenue as percentage of Total Revenue = 5% I think the Teradata case is the right one. I am looking forward to hearing from you.
