Today, you can publish your How-To knowledge to Wikibon in one of three ways. First, you can write your own Wikibon How-To note. Second, you can enhance someone else's How-To note. Third, you can pick up on a topic and go deeper in a new How-To note.
To make it simple, we've created a model How-To note that provides you with a simple template for writing up your experiences. To get started on your How-To note, input the title here and click the "Publish How-To Note" button. An abreviated version of the model preloads when you enter your How-To note title in the form below and click the "Publish How-To Note" button.

Another way to contribute a How-To note is to look at the WikiBon Wish List of How-To notes requested by other members of the community. Perhaps someone needs to tap your expertise.
If you want to enhance an existing How-To note, then start by looking at the How-To notes already contributed.
If you want to go deeper into a topic, then think about writing a How-To note that focuses on a particular lifecycle phase. To keep things simple, our convention is to utilize a three-phase lifecycle: Analyze, Design, and Deploy. To learn more about writing these types of How-To notes, check out the longer article model.
