Mass High Tech has announced the finalists for the inaugural New England CIO Innovation Awards, being presented at the New England CIO Innovation Summit on June 16, in partnership with Boston SIM. The winners will be introduced at an awards lunch during the summit at the Babson Executive Conference Center.

The finalists in the three categories, selected by a volunteer panel of CIOs and advisors, (presented alphabetically) are:

ENTERPRISE Rich Adduci, Boston Scientific Corp.

Rick Blaisdell, ConnectEDU

MIDSIZE COMPANY Martin King, Gurnet Consulting

Joe McGrath, Sunovion Pharmaceuticals Inc.

Stuart Rudolph, VirtualAgility

PUBLIC SECTOR/EDUCATION Jeffrey Bickford, Northern Essex Community College

Bill Oates, City of Boston

Rick, Congratulations! That really speaks to the value of the pieces you have been posting also -- you are talking about an approach that the judges in this contest consider very innovative. Not that I every questioned that, but the validation is nice.
