Information Governance
prepared by Michael Versace
Transparency through Records Management
By all accounts, the digital deluge continues unabated across enterprises today. The growth in collaborative electronic content, structured data, and digitized physical records creates new information architecture challenges as organizations pursue the goal of aligning information with business value creation.
On Tuesday, February 16th - 12:00 noon ET, the Wikibon community will convene to discuss this important topic. We will focus on:
- the convergence of records management and information governance across all forms of physical and electronic content
- key records management challenges and the lessons learned from legacy and silo’d approaches.
We'll also be discussing the role of Strategic Information Management Frameworks in generating value to the organization, the ARMA Maturity Model, and the critical elements required for Effective Information Governance solutions.
Our special guest for the call is:
- Donald L. Martin, PhD, Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Medical Inspector
We'll also be joined by other leaders in the records management industry, returning to the Wikibon Peer Incite program, including:
- Sam McCollum, MBA, CRM, ERMm, ENMAX Corporation
- Jennifer Winch, Infrastructure Systems, PG&E
Please join us and participate in the conversation.
