An industry veteran with more than 40 years' experience in information technology, I spent 20 years with Gartner Inc. focused on IT storage, storage networking and storage management. I previously worked in IT management, operating systems, business and scientific applications, and office systems. I also was a senior management consultant with International Systems Services and specialized in system planning, capacity and storage performance management. I also served as a volunteer with the United Nations and hold a bachelor's degree from the University of San Francisco and a master's degree from the University of California at Berkeley
