Hello,
I'm an engineer and technical writer, specializing in wireless and emerging hardware and software technologies. I have more than 15 years of professional telecoms experience. I have also published extensively in IEEE research journals, written white papers, as well as presented research results in several conferences in the US and Canada.
I previously worked as a CDMA software designer at Nortel Networks in Ottawa. In Nortel, I contributed my expertise in the 1xRTT product line. I have extensive software design experience on high-capacity wireless communications systems, including call processing, mobility and traffic management for voice and data networks. I also worked as a communications engineer for Webel Communication and as a consultant and designer for Eximsoft USA.
I graduated with a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from McGill University in Montreal. I also hold a Master of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Jadavpur University in India and a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Calcutta. In addition, I also undertook post-doctoral research on multicast technologies, ad-hoc networks and Internet protocols including TCP/IP for wireless networks.
I'm currently working on the wireless portal for Wikibon. You can contact me via my email: kaudas2005@yahoo.ca
