Agree on metadata types to automate classification

The key imperative for enabling data classification is automation of the creation of metadata. The first and most important step is to agree on metadata types, and the layout and structure of each type of metadata. This type of metadata management will reduce corporate risk and add incremental value to the business by allowing data to be rapidly searched, shared and mined.
